Bio:
Michael Leifer is a Cultural Anthropologist and CEO of Guerilla PR, Inc. His expertise is in building and maintaining markets and social movements for his clients and causes. He was one of the founding members of the UCLA World Arts and Cultures Major, and was also the President of the UCLA Honors College. Post college, Leifer co-founded and became Executive Director of Erin Brockovitch's Cancer411.org, a non-profit dedicated to helping cancer patients and their families get the information that they need.
In 2000, Leifer founded Guerilla PR, Inc., an integrated and non-traditional advertising agency that specializes in social media and influencer-based word of mouth marketing campaigns. Guerilla PR won the Ad-Tech 2008 "Best Social Media Marketing Award" and works with many Fortune 500 brands. Leifer is also one of the founding fathers of EcoDads.org, an inclusive network of environmentally minded dads who want to create a lasting and measurable impact.

Steve Schneider has been the Coordinator and consultant of the Sawyer Center since 1995. Steve provides valuable information and assistance on the inventive process and helps individuals and small businesses develop ideas into marketable products. He has extensive experience providing information about patents, trademarks and copyrights. His background includes over 35 years in the consumer electronics field working with such companies as Pioneer, Sanyo and Panasonic.
Malcolm Wittenberg was a patent examiner for five years in the late 60's and early 70's. He also was a law clerk for a judge at the U.S. Court of Customs and Patent Appeals, the predecessor court to the U.S. Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. He has been a practicing IP lawyer for over 30 years.
